Instructions
Ch 5, join to form ring
Round 1:
2 ch, 10 dc into ring, sl st into 2nd chain.
Round 2:
2 ch 1 dc into the same stitch as join, *2dc into next dc rep from * to end of round, sl st into 2nd chain.
Round 3:
Rep round 2. missing out last dc. sl st into 2nd chain.
Body of bag:
Mark beginning of row with a coloured thread.
1 ch *1 dc into next dc rep from* in a continuous round until your work measures 2.2cm (1") from ring. finishing in line with the coloured thread
Top pattern:
3 ch, 1tr into the same st as join * 2ch miss 1 dc 1 tr into the next 2 Dc (working into the back loop of dc only)
round 4:
1ch. 1 dc in between space of 3 ch & tr, * 2 dc into 2 ch, 1 dc in between 2 tr. Rep from * to end of round.
Round 5 & 6:
1 dc rep rep to end of round. sl st fasten off. Sew in lose threads.
Handles
Cut 6 lengths of crochet cotton 14" in length. Knot one end & plate the full length of thread. Knot off other end.
Fold the bag flat. Place knotted end of plate in position, with extra 2cm below, over stitch with contrasting thread. Snip of knot leaving small length of threads to form tassel. knotting the end of plate again position plate to form handle & over stitch to match. Rep handle on other side of bag.
Fill with shopping of choice for your 12th scale doll. Use the pattern as you wish but please do not copy pattern to sell on.
